Brennan's Pharmacy have just opened, equipped with the full UpCircle range for all your skincare needs. Don't hesitate to pop in and speak to the amazing team, who we had the pleasure of virtually meeting for product training. We spoke with store manager Scott, to learn more about Brennan's & their ethos.

1 – Tell us about who you are, the team and the place you work:

I’m Scott, the store manager at the new Brennan's Pharmacy in Letterkenny, County Donegal in The Republic of Ireland. I work with an amazing team of Pharmacists and skin and wellness specialists.

2 – Why is it important to you to work with sustainable brands / B Corps?

It's important for us all to do whatever we can to reduce, reuse and recycle and ethical products are a small step in the right direction.

3 – Which is the teams’ favourite UpCircle product & why?

We all have our favourite products - though it is like trying to choose your favourite child! My absolute fave is the hand + body wash. It is so hydrating and moisturising - it feels like you're wearing a very fine silk glove after washing your hands.

4 – In what ways do you promote eco-friendly and sustainable practices within your pharmacy?

We recycle, are mindful of our electric usage, and have a number of ethical, sustainable and refillable products available to purchase, We also only use paper bags at the till.

7 - If UpCircle hosted a spa day for your team, which products would be essential for the ultimate pampering experience?

If UpCircle hosted a day spa, the coffee body scrub, and all of the coffee facial products must absolutely be used. We all love our coffee ;-)

8 – What are your favourite eco-friendly tips? – In beauty or otherwise

Fave eco tips - always purchase glass or metal containers in the supermarket where available as they are infinitely recyclable. Also shop for fruits and veggies at your local markets.

10 – If you recommend one UpCircle product to a first-time customer, which one would it be, and why?

For a first time customer I'd recommend the hand + body wash as it's clean, green and effective.

11 – What's the product you wish UpCircle would make next?

I wish UpCircle would make some men's specific products next - shaving and grooming products would be great.

12 – What’s your favourite eco swap to suggest to customers?

My fave eco swap is to try going old school with soap bars in the shower. Formulas are now so moisturising and respectful of the skins delicate balance - gone are the days of tough stripping soap bars.
